A lone tower sits between the border of Faine-Sylvin and Ataris. A tower as shrouded by its dark legend as it is from dark clouds that rest on it like a wreath. The land itself, desolate. The closest towns and cities are days by foot and roads that may have been connected before have long sense vanished. Regardless, the tower is still known to those of Faine-Sylvin. While most of its history is obscure, it holds recent meaning to the citizens of the nation. In the 19th year of the 5th Era: By law, the King of Faine, Tolstar Faine decreed that any mage who practices witchcraft pay the same penance as murderers: exile to the tower. To let survival against its dangerous mysteries serve as the legal and literal trial of the condemned. It quickly became common knowledge that the punishment was equivalent to the death sentence as people never saw Tower exiles again.
